Diane Scanlon
Diane's recording studio The Power Closet is in Manhattan. The studio is a 24 track DA88 facility running with Digital Performer's MOTU hard drive recording system. Diane most recently produced a CD by Lorrie Wesoly; other recent projects that have passed through The Power Closet are Antigone Rising, and Akiko Yano's most recent record for Sony (with producer Jeff Bova).
Along with Diane's interest in developing and producing bands, she has composed and produced countless pieces for Penguin Audio books, including Charles Kuralt's Winnie the Pooh, which won the Grammy award for best Audio book in 1998. She also produced a remake of "The Name Game" with the students of the Children Storefront School, which still runs on Nickelodeon.
